Grant's Y Namelocke - Part 2 - Santalune Forest
(By this time, Grant has read the rules, because I really don't feel like including them in one of these parts if they're already in a journal entry. He only knows the Basic, Naming, and Catching rules at this point, though.)
"So..." Grant turned to his pokemon. They sat across from each other at a table in Aquacorde City, with a notepad he had taken from his bag between them. Grant was biting the end of blue pen. "We can't catch a pokemon starting with... A." He wrote down A on the paper. "Which comes first in the alphabet?... P, R, or Y." He scribbled those down, too. He wrote above them the heading 'Can't Catch'.

Grant's Y Namelocke - Part 1
I just invented the Namelocke. You think I'm not going to do a thingy for it? The rules for the Namelocke will be in the description, hopefully. If they aren't, I have a Journal Entry about the Namelocke.
Pokemon belongs to Gamefreak, not me.
Darned Fletchling... "Five more minutes..." Grant waved his hand around in the air where he thought it might be. Is that what Kalos was? Pokemon for an alarm clock? Whoever thought up the whole idea of alarm clocks anyway? They were the worst invention known to-

Ab's DUCKS Nuzlocke Part 23 - Dying Leaves
Pokemon belongs to Gamefreak. I do not own it in any way, shape, or form. DUCKS is a hack ConfettiPigeon and I are making.
Four badges. That put Ab almost halfway through this whole thing, he figured. After the eighth badge, there was the Elite 4 and Champion. And there ought to be some whole mess with Shen and Ancetta somewhere in there. They were essentially the evil team. It was weird, how everything was such a relatively low level. His strongest pokemon, Woopette, was only level 26. And his second strongest, AKA the entire rest of his team, was level 24. He had FOUR gym badges. Either way, he wasn't complaining. It only got harder once t

Sage and Cardamom: Acceptance
The sky was blue and dotted with clouds, sunlight peeking through here and there. A light breeze caused the grass to brush against Sage’s feet as he crouched before a makeshift grave marker. He ran a finger across the stone, eyes following the words he’d read hundreds of times in the past few hours: “Here lies Jasmine. Yet another of Sage’s partners, you went the farthest, only to ultimately give your life so Sage and the rest of the team could carry on. You’ll always remain in our dreams, happily waddling.”
When he’d first seen the gravestone, he’d been angry, almost en

Ab's Pokemon DUCKS Nuzlocke - Part 1 - Bad Dream
Disclaimers: Gamefreak owns pokemon, not me. Pokemon DUCKS (that's what it's currently called, along with What) is a hack I am currently making. I am not doing a Nuzlocke run of it, (because I'm not even close to finished yet) this is just imaginary. However, most of the pokemon Ab catches are real (digital, whatever). Yes, this includes a certain Wurmple... Ab is what I (almost) named myself for testing purposes. I really have no idea why, but now the recommended male name is Ab. Deal with it.
Ab yawned lazily. He didn't recognize his surroundings, but he didn't care. It was cool here, and that was all that mattered. Not hot like that darne
I just remembered I had a DeviantArt after like what? 3 and a half years on not being on here? I think I probably made a dumb comment on something and pretended I died so no one would ask. I don't know. I hope that one person with the anime icon is d...
The Namelocke is a Nuzlocke variant I came up with recently, designed to make the game even harder. Though at first it can be manipulated to your advantage, things become in possible after about two gyms.
there are four rule subsets in the Namelocke. I know, I know. But that's only because I wanted the rules to be more organized. Plus, one of them only has one rule.
Basic Rules:
You can only catch the first pokemon you find on each route.
Any pokemon that faints is considered dead and can no longer be used. You must either release it or put it in a special box in the PC.
You must name all your pokemon.
Naming Rules:
Names must be at le
